Being on a city lot there will not be much garden If I can get it up at all. Late starting . I got seeds, little bag starter mix and table by window. I have boards for 4 4 x 8 beds. No cord for the saw and no hammer. Got hand saw and can borrow a hammer. I do have a cord an applicnace cord that is not too long but plug in is out side. Have to saw on the porch and then take to where I want. I will have to go get some nails. Have the cultivating tiller here but I doubt it can break that ground. IF I can start it. Got gas. Need to get oil. Poor start on this garden I can tell you.

Nah! It'll all work out. 4 - 4X8 beds is plenty of garden for a city lot and I know I sure wouldn't want to have to cut all that wood manually. I used to, but now we have a small, girly-type chain saw and it'll have to do.

ONLY need cut 4 boards in half will do it. Got all 8 footers. Cut one in half for each end. I would not want to use a chain saw on them, I have cicurlar saw 1 1/2 horse and that should cut them fine. How do you cut straight with a chain saw? I need to get oil and nails. But I need start seeds first. I figure the set date end of May. If I can not till up the ground nothing will get planted.
I really figure I can get more beds in that strip acrossed the back and the little green house and shed for tools. Son has to move his shed off my bacjk yard. I will ask for all the rock to use at the base of the slope and doubt he will let me. I think I wll have to run some thing along the fence because of the neighbor's dog. I did not think it went back there but that cross fence in not clear across his place. The dog pees on the fence. He does not plant any garden. Has a tiller out there. Cuccumbers on the fence maybe I can do. After having a half acre this seems so little. See what water costs. 2 squash to a bed? Short season here,

Back porch they call it is like 6 feet wide and 56 feet long. Only has a roof over it and rest is open.
Contractor will be doing some work on back side of house. Painting I guess.
Beds will be out in the sun. Got figure to grow this upward.

Tomato seeds have came up but 3 kids are not. Could be deeped. 15 kinds and few of each to get some plants. More seeds of the main crop type. I don't eat tomatoes anyway, Very little.
Gota pile of horse crap in the back yard for the beds.

The horse manure will be great for your gardens. I've never worked with raised beds but I think I would like it.

Time ta pull yer chainsaw bro No can do,Im in the middle of a forest, the trees are like 10 per lot,and the neighbors trees houses away block my light. Not to be a smart butt..but here we have 71 tree's in our main yard.. 1 of the tree's is 17 ft.10in. around. It is scheduled to come down this year. It is like driving into the darkness here when it is daylight. They all need to go away. Well almost all of them. A couple can stay for a tiny bit of shade.
