For us, I'd have to say..... Coffee grinder and coffee maker. (coffee good) Magic Bullet pressure cooker popcorn air popper (we eat a lot of popcorn....cheap snack) and of course..... our cast iron skillets. I think we inherited one or two of them from my wife's Mamaw. They are da BOMB!!!!! Oh....regarding the toaster oven... we've got one Rita. They're real nice and all...especially since you can sometimes fire that up instead of the big oven. But quite honestly.... we don't use it near as often as I thought we would. It does have a rotisserie in it though (which is cool). I think we cooked a small lamb shank on it one time....delicious! It's also good for making tuna melts too.

the boys do alot of little pizzas and stuff like that which would be better in a toaster oven .. I hate heating up the house with the large oven especially during the summer .. I have the microwave that has the grill element in it thought I would be killing two birds with one stone well crud splatters up on the element and well its unfit for grilling and or browning what a waste

Rita, great score. Nice price too. We have a warming drawer in our new kitchen if it ever gets finished. Something like the steam table would be super nice. CF

A favorite would be hard to choose, I have so many good gadgets, several Huge stainless pots and a real good, EXTREMELY sharp set of chef knives.. trust me I've lost some skin to em" and they are probably the most used... Now the one "gadget" That is indispensable during harvest...is this old ANTIQUE We use for the Tomatoes.. I can't find a patent number on it, or any info... Here it is..first disassembled..then all together: (yes..it's aluminum...reports of aluminum cooking vessels causing Alzheimers are ...uummm, what was I talking about??)

Sheri, the pics were not showing because that was an old link to a image host that no longer exists..I fixed that.. The Post you were attempting to make though, may have been a Mis-fire due to the broken link...will check the system for glitches though..Sorry for the confusion

Hard call on that.Have to say cast iron as used daily, then the KitchenAid mixer with the doo dads,or the Kitchen Center mixer with even more doo dads, all get used a lot. bow
Last night made eggrolls,KA to grind pork,KC for onions, garlic and carrot chopping, cast iron later for frying.Yes on toaster oven too, very handy.
But Im seeing most are luxeries, cast iron, knives are must haves.

That's quite the base for the ricer Phil. Mine has a tripod instead. Both have their advantages I'm sure. I have a bread machine (that I have maybe used 5 times in 15 years),and I'm not allowed to play with sharp objects like knives or mandolins. But I do love my toaster oven. It's great for frozen pizzas or One person meals. I use my microwave for a lot but some things just don't cook properly in a microwave.

I use my Microwave ALOT but I use it to heat up my water in the AM and stuff , or heating things up not so much to "cook" with, I used to have a toaster oven , I loved it!! But it started on fire , it was electrical , in the toaster oven itself, so I will never get another one. I can appreciate them from afar tho

Yeah I had an older toaster oven and it caught fire. The new ones are a lot better I think. I like mine because of the Convection oven so it cooks faster.

A convection toaster oven is a LOT cheaper than a Convection kitchen range so that's why I bought the toaster oven.

I don't have any room for anything on my counter, I have to drag everything out to use it. Then I think "Is it really worth dragging it out?" So then alot of my stuff doesn't get used to it's fullest. Now when it comes to canning , or dehydrating, I drag it all out and clutter up everything just for the cause!!

I bought a Wolfgang Puck pot and no matter what I use it for the food sticks to it. It's horrible. The instructions say don't put it in the dishwasher because it might cause food to stick. I've only had it a month, never put it in the dishwasher, food stuck the first time I used it and has continued to do so.

Our Criteria for a different house .. Top of list: Warm Climate.. 2nd. on list..LARGE KITCHEN/Lots of counters...we have so little space We hear Ya Wendy...we got's nice stuff..but it's where it's not handy..so, it's only "slightly" used... a shame too..very useful tools..just "out of sight" and most likely will stay that way

And we manage to cook, can and dehydrate, though canning supplies not in kitchen, they have to be dragged in. If you are small and rustic, this is what we did.... BTW,Mrs NOT happy I didnt clean it up a bit for pics, you know, company coming version,LOL,but here is the real deal. This is dehydrator, microwave (20 year old American Made Tappan, bought new when moved here),toaster oven (Gift from DIL,wasnt good enough for her,we LOVE it) and the stainless steel Emirl brand with sandwiched copper in bottom, they are good pans Next are pans on shelf side (usually more hanging there),steamer, behind that covered is the Grain Mill, and the juicer From top have cookbooks, utensils,Knife set,KitchenCenter with processor on it,blender jar behind, meat grinder for KitchenAid mixer which is below Cast iron griddle and cast iron muffin tin (Both new Lodge) on shelf side,Toaster and bread machine

You sure win that one spuds!! I don't know how much we have but I am sure it is a lil more than you!! I do have a back porch with a wooden cabinet we stick some stuff in there. But we usually put everything in the basement. Witch means we have to run up and down stairs to get it then put it back. Also if all eles fails andI get really lazy we put stuff in the garage. I need cupboards in the garage! We do alot of dehydrating in the garage, or dining room table!! Cannot do anything now because you cannot see the dining room table at the moment. (Stuff going up north) hahahaha but yes I give you the title if having less counter space than I do. Altho I will ask hubbs when he gets home Maby take a pic if I can find my camera!
