I thought you might like to see how we crush aluminum cans....DH had our friend Ray weld it and it works great, I am not the best picture taker in the world, as you can tell.... The cans are put into a slot at the back, then the handle has a round rod and is pushed into the slot. The can is crushed and falls down by itself into the barrels. It is attached to my bird house telephone pole...it works great, and it fast....

I like that. Hubby crushes ours by hand as we drink them. Or we save 'em up and crush them in piles by running over them with the truck or 4 wheeler and scooping them up with a shovel into the bags.

Mi has 10 cent Mi. Returnable So we buy all our cans from Mi. Some time when we have a party or something ppl will bring Ohio cans , then we have to seperate , we usually never crush them tho we take them to the place by Kroger and get rid of them ... You know the big recycle bins...
