Well I pretty much got a second bed done today but decided not to plant as it got to windy. So more planting Thursday and the start of another bed .Really crossing my fingers everything gets out by Sunday.Or at least all beds dug up.Holding out a little getting my smaller punkins started.Got my giants in peat pots but will need to get them out soon. Btw progress is a relative term at the moment.By count I have around 95 maters a few more peppers ,corn, pumpkins, winter and summer squash ,melons, cukes, radises, carrots, lettuce, turnips, green beans, snap peas, and herbs and flowers plus cantaloupe, watermelon .I don't think I left anything out ;D Kevin

Hey all ,
Got more accomplished today. Got five hills of punkins planted today including Winter Luxury,Baby Boo,Jack be Little and Dickinson. Had to little helpers in my 4 year old niece and 2 year old nephew. They planted ( with coaching from me) two hills of Winter Luxury one hill of Baby Boo and one hill of Jack be Little. I planted the Dickinson. Yes pics where taken and will get them posted ASAP.
In the mean time I did some figuring and it looks like I will miss my goal of 100 mater plants by 20. Still 80 plants is still 30 more than normal for me so still pretty good.Just not enough time and the soil is drying fast making it harder to dig but should be done by Tuesday.Broke ground on Bed 6 and should get bed 7 done up afterwards on Monday with bed 8 and bed 9 on Tuesday.

Got the next bed all dug up. More maters going in today starting with Shumway's Sensation. Word on the street is it is not like other varieties that where batted about last year. From what I have been told by someone on another forum that it has has great production. And makes a great canner.
Also the bunny's are back. They nailed two of my Rose maters down to the first true leaves.I know they will grow back.Just a minor setback with these two plants. In the mean time I have dusted all of them with Cayenne powder so the damage should subside. At least I wont loose 12 plants this year

Will do Phil. Yep Shumway has been around a long time and even though they are owned by Jung now there are still good seed to be had from them.
