This morning when I got up, at 5:00 am, it was already 91 F. The high today, so far, has been 110, and may go even higher. Supposed to be triple digits, through at least Saturday and even longer. The record is 42 days in a row, with triple digits. That was in 1980. The way it is looking, we may break it. The poor lakes around are dropping fast. Just heard on the weather that the heat index is 110 to 115 F. Update: Just heard on the 5:00 pm news that today was the hottest August day since 1943. Also, Tulsa, OK was 112 F. If you die, you don't need to be cremated, just walk outside and you will fry.

What ? No turnips hehe!! we don't care much for the actual "turnip" part, that is why we grow the rape, it has the flavor of turnip greens without the turnip...
