Old Tank decided to take a walk again He has been missing in action since last week Monday. So once again we will go out putting up posters. I made several calls to different clinics & vets. & the radio station. None have seen him but will watch for him. The radio will put something on-air & will call us if someone calls them with any info..

And now, since yesterday..Spaz..our garden buddy cat... is missing too possibly he's out looking for Tank?? dunno, they are good buddies... But I suspect there's still a little "spark" in ol Tank..and he may be romancing a neighbor dog..or a feral dog, there are a couple feral dogs about the area..they live near and eat off of the "ahem" "composting" piles..out back of the Ump-teen hog barns scattered over the area bothers me when the hog producers talk about composting ... not that they do it..but that it's NOT the use of the term I know and love wish they'd call it what it is..composting dead piglets in horse crap

My best friend's prize hunting dog managed to blow past the underground fence and took a walk-about earlier this fall. We we're all out wandering the fields and driving through the countryside until about midnight looking for him. My buddy left his garage door open that night. Pup finally came back around 4am-ish. We still don't know where he went. Praying that Tank finds his way back home, safe & soon. Hang in there guys.

So Phil went in one direction & I in another & we put up posters of Tank. Spazie is no doubt looking for him cuz they keep each other warm on the porch in the winter. Or there is a female Spazie is chasing. The last time we put the posters up Tank was home the next day. So..Tank get yer butt home & Spaz..you need to get home too. Danged animals.

Buster adopted Black Jack as his best friend and the two of them will sleep together in the kennel when Buster is out. The two of them are spoiled in the winter Ruth brings them in at night so they can be warm, dad burn animals are treated better then I am Not true, but close.

Laura, if you are on facebook, you should post a pic of them and a brief description. Sometimes they wander outside their immediate area and sharing with phriends and phamily online can't hurt.

Thanks Pholks for your kind words...it is starting to look bleak Tank, he wouldn't be dog knapped..least not easily,,he don't like getting into cars or trucks... spaz tho..will get into anyones car.. but then.. do people really go gathering up cats and dogs... still in my mind it's the call of the wild...probably having a great time while we sit and fret..or at least I'm praying that's it

We fed the cats & low & behold we looked out the window & there was Spazie. So he is here & looked fine. So I made a call yesterday & the folks told us a dog had been hit during a snowstorm we had. Well if in fact a dog had been hit it was not Tank as he was here the next day after it snowed. He has been gone since the day after the snow. I will make a call on Monday to the County dept. who picks up animals. We need to know.

I called the county hwy dept & no dogs were picked up in our area. Had another # to call & the same no dogs were found. So I will find the people who own a piece of land by us & get permission to go in & look for Tank there. As there is farm equipment on the property & I don't want them to think we are snooping. If he is not in there then we pretty much just have to wait it out & quit looking. The posters have done nothing. No calls.

We will be taking down the posters that are up. We both think Tank is gone. Had one call form a woman who sen his picture up & she was wondering of we had found him. I told her no & that we figured he passed on. She said she was sorry for our loss if in fact he is gone. It has been 16 days today.
