Just for phun, yesterday I ordered Yellow carrots, rice seeds, amaranth, chinese cabbage, and an icebox melon from Kitazawa seed company. I intend to plant the cold hardy things in my solar greenhouse in a few weeks.
Winter has been remarkably warm, but I do not trust it yet!

That's me Terri, I just don't trust that weatherman. Is it because he dresses like a used car salesman? Phil~ I didn't realize what a seed-hoarder I was til I thought I was thru gardening and got them all together to give away. Took me an hour at least to go thru and explain and re-mark seeds folded up like BC powders, lol. Sometime my marks are a little cryptic, but I know what it is. Thanks for the offer but I think I have what seeds I need for my small container garden ;D

Here's what my last-to-plant pepper seeds look like, as of today. They're in a 3-inch yogurt cup. I really only need one but might keep 2 plants to grow in a 5-gal bucket. Never grew these super-hots before. I hope the rabbits and squirrels will appreciate the finer differences between bhuts and cayenne, lol. ;D

Very nice looking pepper plants Mo!! If the bunnies bother the plants sprinkle em with black pepper that should keep them wabbits away. You will need to do it several X's esp if it gets washed away by rain!
