Cavey, Loosing a great friend is never easy. I bet she gave those squirrels hell. I still remember dogs from my childhood. I think of them often. I read a question and answer one time. Do you think there are any dogs in heaven? If not it would not be heaven. CF

Aweee yes it hurts for a long time after you lose a pet.. We lost our Bubbie 8 years ago and still talk about what a wonderful dog he was

CF, she would hunt squirrels or anything that moved, except snakes......don't know why, maybe she was affraid of'em.......i sure do miss her and other dogs i've had durin my life, just like you. PS.......ya bet'cha there are dogs in heaven.........and i'll be happy to see the one's i've had and could call my friends

Ben there and done that. So sorry!!
I have my little Sassy toy poodle now, she will be 4 in May. I cannot imagine losing her. I don't want her to go before me but then I don't want to leave her behind. Doubt she could survive without me. Toy pooldes are known to grieve themselves to death. Most anyway, and I could not stand that either.
