This is a recipe for Blackberry Liqueur syrup .. you could add more juice and leave out the liqueur
4 cups blackberries 1/2 cup chambord or other raspberry liqueur 3/4 cup sugar 1tbsp lemon zest 1tbsp lemon juice 1 pouch liquid pectin ..
this recipe does not call for juice tho .. just the whole berry ..
Then online ... 4 cups blackberry juice 4 cups sugar 1/3 pouch powdered pectin .

Thanks Rita, that's probly what I'll do, just lower the pectin a little. For this batch, I put it in empty water bottles, poured a little short and froze them so I can take out a little at a time to try different recipes.

Mo, I'd swap a loaf of homemade bread for a jar of that jelly... at the store yesterday, foreign grown blackberries were 2 bux a half pint. not a bad price...ifin ya wanna gamble on the possible chemical adulteration and all ya can find here be blackberry Jam...too many seeds fer me dilapidated dental dilemma

Thanks guys. Phil, I know what you mean about the seeds, used to love them in jam and cobbler, plus leaving them in saves processing steps, but no more. Usually it's late June/early July here before we pick any, we'll have to wait and see what this weird weather year did to the harvest dates.
