Will start seeding peppers in the next few days. Have to finish clearing off the island in kitchen to put up the heat board so have bottom heat. It is just a piece of heavy plywood but it works. I have it so heat gets under it. So I will have a messed up kitchen for awhile.
Got to bring in Jiffy mix and trays/pans to seed in to. Still trying to decide how many plants I should start. How big a garden will I do.
Put a big appliance cardboard box into the shed to use to store plant pots /cans and so on this morning. I will sack to sizes and bag and toss in the box. Need to clean up the mess on back step and behind the house.
Last few years I have been starting around 2000 or so for the garden. Do I want to start some extra plants to see if will sell? If I do will need pots for them.
Garden is too muddy to walk in. Millions of small green weeds that the rains last fall brought up are not frozen. Got to till them under as soon as mud lets up.

I hunted up my seed mixture pan and counted bags of mix. And my pan and tray covers. I use bread sacks and such. I will need more mixture. My soil has damp off so buy the mix. I plan to go to town today and maybe had better stop by farm store and get mix. Where I got last year I think. High but I can drive there on my own and not need help getting to big city. Son is plannig to be here Sat and take me shopping as they are going. Everything is high anyway. Farm store may have onions sets in and I can get. Or potatoes to plant. No water till April 1 st or there abouts, Pipe busted agian and got to be fixed. My one piece left is too short. I got to figure out something as comes in 30 foot pieces. I have the joints to splice it in and is 4" pipe. Need to get glue and primer while at farm store. Just put that on my list. So I can run a hose from the house out there and use a little if I have too. It was not Jiffy mix out there only one bag and rest is better mix I hope. I will use jiffy on the nuts to chill them and other fruit seed. Got seeds layed out to plant first and rest are sorted now. Slowly making headway.

Made it to the farm store. Mix high there and not very big bag, Got 6 bags and with 4 I have that should do it maybe. Got the glue and primer for the pipe. Yes, they will sell me short length of 4" pipe at $2.88 a foot. Dang high but I can not haul a 30' one from irrigation supply. If son would have his flat bed trailer down he could get a couple for me and I would have on hand. I had had an extra one layed back. Used it. Maybe still can scrap it. I would rather not. I will make it some how.
Rain this morning that turned to snow. Ground was getting white but sidewalk was clear. I hope it does not freeze. Was 34* when I first looked.
