Anyone ever make chutney with rhubarb ? I LOVE chutney, but have never made it. Have been thinking about trying to come up with a homestead recipe with things I grow. Rhubarb, plums, apples,omions, horseradish and ?? Anyone have any good ideas?

Hi Mike Sure nice to see ya here. THANKS FOR JOINING There's a bunch of recipe's here ..and I'm sure we'll get a bunch of chutney recipes added to this thread! as for the other veggies/fruits..We have a WEALTH of them here...and Laura and I will post some of Our faves too.. Laura makes apple EVERYTHING (she even had the GRAND CHAMPION Applesauce at the Steele county fair this year.. she makes some dang good plum.apple and JalapeƱo jelly too Mike..we just processed 2 quarts of horseradish ...last week WELCOME ABOARD MIKE..

Chutney is a relish, often made with raisins and lots of spices. It originated in India.
