The new Speed Queen just arrived and we are back in business washing clothes. Nice machine, simple to use. I will update the performance.

front load JC? let Us know, I sure like our Kenmore washer...been throwing HUGE loads at it since 2000..only one pause, and that was for a hair tie caught in the pump...I took it apart...phixed it...back in business...dunno how the hair tie got into the pump?? would think there would be a screen on the damn thing

It's a simple machine with less whistles as bells......but it does an excellent job, you can do twice as much wash in half the time as the newer ones on the market......meaning the other brands.

Five months and the speed queen is still doing fine, Ruth is happy and that makes me happy. No kinks or bumps in the road yet. bow

Good to hear jc , I didn't buy a speed queen , but I love my new washer also!! I was skeptical at first!! But now I love it!! They just don't agitate like they used to!! I have read so many reviews and I was so skeptical but I have to say Daves clothes are coming out clean!! I love my new machine!! If there is anything I don't like is 1. A cannot leave the lid up and have it turned on to fill up! 2. it takes a lil longer to wash the clothes than the other one. But those are things I can live with
