OK sooo we went shopping yesterday and we seen this wine bottle that looked like it had a stained glass bird on it, so I picked it up and looked at it and asked my friend what the stained glass stuff was made of? She said ohhh I seen that on Pintrest it is glue, Elmers glue... Well then bing!! Went the light in my head ... Ummmm I can do that!! so today we went to the dollar store and guess who got glue paint and a paint brush? Only thing is I am not patient when it comes to letting things dry. Has anyone heard of this b4? You can spray it afterwards so you can get it wet and so forth but cool!! I also got a frame at the dollar store so I could practice stuff on it .... pics to show later I would like some comments if ya have any

I think glue would peel off eventually.. you can buy glass paint in any craft store. pretty sure wallmart has it to. I did a couple flower vases years ago. cant seem to find my pic of the stained glass jar

Oh yea the pic ... My first piece I didn't have a knifeto cut the black and make it straight Not that I could if I had a knife lol... But if I did it maby would of looked a lil better.. I started another one but it popped off the glass so I ditched it. Well the glue can come off if you want it to... The problem with the glue , this house here in N.C. Is cold .... It takes Days to dry and you cannot do the "Other colors" till the black dries ... It takes patients .. I think when I go home I will get the glass paint and a bigger piece of glass and try it .... But I didn't think this was too awful bad for my first piece!

You did a awesome job! I love it! I don't use a knife either. not really hard to draw lines with paint. the more you do it the more easier it gets. Are you gonns make these to sell? I think you'll do good with them

I have a friend who does stained glass stuff and it's expensive and takes a long time. I've been wanting to make a window but didn't want to do it that way. I'm definitely going to give this a try.

I would suggest the glass paint really ... Because the glue was coming off after dried .... I think it would be great for kids crafts as long as the outline was done b4 , it takes alot of time for the glue to dry all the way .. Sometimes two days , as was the case in the flower .... I also did a leaf I will have to take a pic of it
