Planted 385 seed's on January 20th. Some have sprouted as of Thursday Jan.24th.

Yes Laura that is a lot of onions, but if you sell a lot of them it's just a drop in the bucket, like us we grow 1000s of garlic sets because we have a lot of customers who like our garlic, plus we eat a ton of it ourselves. Onions on the other hand I have never grown from seed, I have always planted sets or plants. Fore me that's much easier. Besides I really haven't tried sell onions, we just grow them for our own use.

Bro, what we had last year was just enough for Us..but everyone wanted onions, One of the CSA owners that came out here wanted our onions every time he visited to get tomatoes.. so, probably what will happen is we will have onions...and no one will want em'
