Well with this season being a washout I am looking at several sites for new seed. Recently got some groceries at HEB and found Tuscan melons for sale.Wow what a tasty melon it was.So seeds for this is on my list. As always tomatoes are a big subject. looking at five or 6 sites for tomatoes which I am sure you all know. I still need seed from the Dan McMurray collection most notable is Giant Italian Paste. As always I will be putting my focus on American and Italian varieties but will grow some from Ukraine ,Russia And Mexico and a few others. Peppers are another hot topic too with hot and sweet peppers co-staring in the pepper patch.Want to make salsa so I will of the best hot and sweet peppers to do the job right. gonna be planting garlic this fall too. What about pumpkins? well the patch is limited so no giants Will have some nice Jack O Lanterns along with our permanent varieties Winter Luxury and Kabocha. That's about it for now.

Sounds good to me. Some of the maters I am looking for are rare and most of them are Italian. Also bell peppers.HEB also has a hot pepper that you do not normally see called Manzano. It is the worlds oldest cultivated hot pepper.packs a punch too.Gonna save some seeds and see how they turn out next year.Anyway I am gonna work on my list of wants and post it here. One tomato though that I am looking for is Giant Italian Paste. Dan McMurray sent me seeds for this one after I moved to Michigan in 09. This is a huge plum type getting up to half a pound and has great flavor.
