Kind of a long post so bear with me. Went to the funeral, very nice, for a funeral.Turns out Mike,a heavy equipment operator,Teamster. Was always big into horses, that I didnt realize how big. Was a horseshoe-er,did rodeo, trail rides, all that good horse stuff. They moved up here when his Dad died,Mom,couldnt make it financially. Well,no place for horses here.Last three years they moved down the hill, got a couple horses. When we saw Pat she told us how happy Mike was, having horses again, for last 3 years. Now the part where I come in.Remember when I almost got run over by my Jeep, and it hit their house? Mike and Jeep So the question we had,why did this happen to us? Well,it wasnt about us,it was about Mike.Their house was made of Redwood, true dimensional lumber,so a 2x4 was REALLY a 2x4? Was going to have to be custom milled.Which meant when said and done they got paid about 15,000 for the settlement. Which they repaired with Douglas Fir and a piece of plywood in the damaged siding section. With that money they moved back down the hill, rented a horse sized place and bought a horse trailer and 2 horses. And Mike got to spend his last 3 years with what he was about, horses. They say God works in mysterious ways and it isnt for us to know,go figure,we got to know why this 'accident' happened. Pretty amazing!
