Locust Grove growing hemp in pilot program LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Locust Grove, the 18th century home of the sister and brother-in-law of George Rogers Clark and William Clark, is growing industrial hemp. The seeds were planted last week at the site by its gardener, Sarah Sutherland. Kentucky Ramping Up Hemp Test Production In 2016 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky is accelerating hemp production in the third year of testing its potential as a cash crop. The state Department of Agriculture said Friday it has authorized planting of nearly 4,500 acres of hemp this year in the next round of statewide pilot projects, up from about 900 acres of hemp production last year. Nice to see prohibition ending,though the DEA still rates it next to HEROIN,IDIOTS.Self serving overpaid IDIOTS at DEA. Since Colorado legalized pot narcotic overdoes/death rate has dropped. Its a good plant,in all forms,IMO.After 40+ years pushing drugs as a nurse,I'd rather see a lot more pot and a lot less pharmaceuticals for sure. We have an initiative for recreational pot coming up.It allows counties to opt out,ours says they wont allow it.Since when do county supervisors get to over rule the state wide votes??? thats BS 7 pinheads can outlaw it here,actually only 4 votes were needed. Prohibition has to stop.Im am sick of the WAR on drugs that is strictly a WAR on the PEOPLE!But no problem for all the so called legal drugs that addict,kill,destroy but have have the blessing of the DEA.PURE BS!!! |

I could'nt agree more. We live in the Bible Belt and these people want nothing to do with MJ.....same thing with casino's or racecin'o......but......bingo in church is just fine.....gamble in the name of the Lord....Amen.
