Pearl Harbor, I was young but I remember. We all sat around the old battery operated radio and listen to the news. No electric power for us back in those days. When the radio was on you listen to the news. That was the only time the radio was allowed on. Batteries cost money of which we didn't have. I still think about all those that were lost on that day. And all those that were lost in the coming years. World war two, To many lives were lost world wide. Our family lost several members. I pray that they all may rest in peace. Our world has become a place with no peace. I pray for world peace each day. CF
God Bless America, Don't think so? Maybe you should Leave.

December 7th I go out and blow up Toyotas and Hondas....without warning LOL.
Seriously, sad time.My Dads future Destroyer, the Cassin, was heavily damaged in drydock there,it rolled over onto the Downes. She and He participated in the entire Pacific campaign.Certainly made a pacifist out of him,and we had NOTHING Japanese in our home.
Wife has been there many times, says it really is powerful to see the memorials.2 years to the 75th year.
My nephew has gone to Hawaii and saw it. His company sent him several times to Hawaii . He would have to wait there for the plane to Johnston Atoll. I can remember President declaring war on Japan. Dad had a small electric radio his brother gave him.
