Brings with it the joys of watching different birds we may not have seen before. Today a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker spent the day on our tree out side the living room window. Stayed for no less then 5 hours. He/she was kinda skinny when it first appeared..& when it left it was plump..

Yeah it's good to see the birds back, I see many Robins which also is a good sign.

I've been seeing more and more birds lately, too! Saw some finches in the neighbor's yard this weekend and finally saw some hummers at my feeder last week!

yep ya can hear more n more in the mornins, i love listin to the birds. ill keep my eyes open for any new comers but im still getting to know the old ones.

Can you believe i had someone say to me, yesterday, "It's too cold for the birds to be back right?" uh NO! It amazes me that there are still people who think all of the birds pack it up and fly way south in the winter. Makes me wanna slam my head into the wall. My spring red winged blackbirds, grackles & starlings, are back. The white throated and chipping sparrows too. I eagerly await my tree swallows. Cleaned up their nesting boxes yesterday.
