Northwest Trek is a 723-acre wildlife park featuring a 435-acre free-roaming area tram tour (50 minutes) and several exhibits featuring injured/rehabilitated animals that can't be released back into the wild. All the animals at Northwest Trek are from the Pacific Northwest. This is one of my favorite places to be. The place is clean, the employees are always friendly, and you never know what you're going to see. Last year, while on the tram, a family of raccoons were playing just up the hill from the road and the tram driver stopped so we could watch for a while. None of the animals in the free-roaming area are tame. Elk, moose, caribou, bison, and mountain sheep roam the 435 acres. Some days, you won't see anything, so it's always exciting when you do. Good pictures!!! I love Badgers....every once in a while, if we're lucky, we get to see them around here....
