Well I have the habit of always checking in the post office for new cast off gardening mags and to my surprise there was a brand new og mag for the taking. Great, lots of spring info. Then more to my surprise was a garlic article with a name that sounded familiar. Then I realized that name was the one who sent me the hollyhock seeds in the fund raiser. It is good to "meet" you oh2fly. Great article by the way. If I ever get the chance to visit my son in Wash. again I would like to contact you about stopping by for a few minutes to say hi. But I don't know when that would be and if ever I would ask prior approval of course. But glad to see someone I can relate to sharing and flexing their knowledge for all to learn from. Have a nice day and a good crop of garlic.

Yes I find it kinda cool at times to be able to see someone in the mags and be able to say, "hey, I know them and glad to say so". Have a good day BB.

Hi gang! Thanks phor the kind words. I am relishing my 15 minutes of whatever. I have been getting calls and emails from all over. Been sending out some of my garlic stash as well to friends and family. No one ever pays anymore  Here's the link to the article. Sorry it isn't better. My scanner is so-so. So are my scanning abilities.  I have been busy here trying to stay ahead of the poverty avalanche. I have a herniated disc in my back and some days I can't get squat done, others aren't too bad. I found someone close selling loads of rabbit manure and I am spreading it on all of my beds. I garden the same every year and it will be interesting to see if it makes much difference. I just need mother nature to give us a " normal" weather season to gauge the results by. I am braving the elements planting some sugar snap peas today. I started 2 dozen 2 weeks ago inside. They are about a foot tall and falling all over themselves. I hope to keep them alive with bubble wrap. Time will tell. I will try and stop by to harass you guys now and then.
