Dear Phorum Phamily... Since Oct 13, 2004 @ 5:26pm. This phorum has been online. Laura and I have met the nicest pholks from around the world.
We, have phun here, as I am sure You all do too... We laugh, cry and hurt when Our Phorum Phamily does... as I am also sure You do also
We want You all to know that Laura and I are honored with your presence here and to let You all know that we never forget that It is You Phorum Phamily that makes this phorum interesting, informative, educational and just plain PHUN...That being said...And in the Spirit of the Season... I would like to give everyone an oppurtunity to give me Your Feedback, Your likes/dislikes.
Example: Topics You would like to have Discussion Boards based on here on the Phorum. Some, of the boards here minimal use, others receive quite a bit of traffic. So, If you would like a board for a new topic... Or.. You think we have one here that needs to go...Voice your opinion ! Like the example above; Same goes for the layout, colors, smilies (more/less), new features, backgrounds of the pages... etc. This is Your Phorum Pholks; let Us know what you would like this place to be, and we will do our darndest to tailor it to your liking

Pharmer Phil & Laura..... This Phorum is so comfortable.....kinda like sitting around the kitchen table , sharing some stories or other interests in a nonagressive and nurturing atmosphere. I feel might "comfy" here and don't have much else to say, except....keep up the good work and have a Happy Holiday! Cottonpicker.... AKA...Larry Davis

Brother, i'm with Larry......this is home and we feel welcome....so the little changes that come about over time are fine, but i see nothin that needs to be changed at this time.....if others do, i'm sure they can only make our home a much nicer place.

I recently recommended this forum as the one where folks are the nicest. I think the forum hosts are doing things right!

I agree with everyone. This is the best phorum I have been a member of. I have dropped out of phorums because of some activity that has gone on, that I want no part of. I am sure others have done the same. There have been some issues in the past that have been taken care of, that no longer exist. Why I like about this phorum is everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or how or what you garden. we all get along with, and support each other. There never has been a problem asking a question, for fear you will be ridiculed or made fun of. Also, since we have such a diverse group of folks, both young and old, and from different countries, customs and cultures, we are both teachers and students. I enjoy the time I spend both. reading and posting, each day. I feel we all are better people because of what Phil, Laura and the moderators have done to support and help us Phamily members. Now... Is there anything I would like to see changed? No there is not. I just ask everyone to keep doing what you have been doing. I enjoy seeing the things that Phil does for us.

Well I been takin a break for awhile but I am thinking like all the rest of you. This is the most comfortable phorum I have been in yet. There are many well run friendly ones but this one works well for me and I dare say for most of the rest of you. I too see suthle* changes that make it all better. Just keep doing what you are doing, all you that put in the extra time that others don't. I like it fine. So my family wishes all of you and your families a happy safe and exciting christmas and a Happy New Year. Now I'm gonna be quiet ok lol. But thanks for asking peps anyway.

Guy's there are some threads that I don't visit. Just because I have little interest or because I don't have the knowledge for input. But it does not mean that others don't. I think change should come as time or interest dictates. I listen and learn from most all post. Some make me laugh and some make me cry. I have found lots of friends here and am grateful for it. Thanks for all the time spent making my day.CF

I agree with everyone too...........this place is awsome, there is no drama, and if there is a problem, its dealt with.
I for one, wouldnt change anything.....that being said, down the road, if somthing more needs to be added, that would be great too.

What would everyone think of having different areas in the recipe section ? One for chicken dishes one for beef ect .. I was just thinking that would make it a LOT easier to search for a meal to suit what one may have on hand

I would have to agree with everyone not to change a thing. After all, I did meet my wonderful wife on this phorum! I would like to encourage the phamily to use the Slams more often. In the early days of this phorum, the slams were a place we all used to socialize, joke around and just have a phun time together. Here's to a great phorum and a great phorum phamily Rita, great idea on the recipe section

I have been a member of the Phorum for almost three years now but even though I live outside of the USA I still feel part of the community. Unfortunately external demands on my time have meant that I have not been able to visit as much this year but I hope to be able to visit more often in the future. Change or continuity? It is a very difficult choice, and depends greatly on the future vision of how the Phorum should develop. As a 'foreigner' I feel that there is something typically American about the Phorum, and I mean that as a compliment rather than a criticism. Everyone really cares about each other and - please don't take this the wrong way - in many respects it reminds me of The Waltons TV show. Good old traditional values, no arguments, no problems and everyone looking out for each other. That is very difficult to achieve in real life let alone on an internet forum and Phil and Laura and the rest of the staff and indeed the other members are to be congratulated for what has been achieved over the last seven years. So a big thankyou to Phil and Laura and the phorum staff for making this a very nice community to be a member of.

Spruance, just because you live on the other side of the pond doesn't mean you are any different then any other member. 'WE ARE ALL ONE PHAMILY' I like hearing bout life in other countries and especially seeing pictures of places I may never be able to visit. Post when ever you have time. We all lead busy, hectic lives. So don't feel bad if your time does not allow you to spend time each day on the phorum. We all understand.

Thanks for being a part of our Phamily!! that is one of the beautiful things about the "net" we get to learn and see all the other parts of the world we will never be able to visit in person .. The "real" parts and not just the tourist attractions AS CP said visit when you can .. we all appreciate your posts and pictures .. even tho I KNOW I am a horrible culprit of not responding .. never think I don't look and see everything that goes on here

Maybe sections for Main dishes sub-sub boards of chicken, beef, pasta, desserts, casseroles, soups, bakery (pies & cakes), Sauces.
One seperate for flower gardening too could be broken down to annual, perennial, and indoor

Thanks CP and Rita. Yes as Wrennie mentions a reorganisation of the gardening topic headers would be a good idea and maybe throw in one for greenhouses too, not just for tropical plants but for propagating seeds etc.
