OK Im lookin to add a 100 amp panel to Dads garage to accomodate existing wiring and the 12x24 addition I just put up. I want to seperate the new"shop" and lighten up the load in the garage. How is the best way to break it up evenly? outlets per breaker? lights? Just a general idea of what Im doin an I just want to compare notes.

There are electrical codes that specify the amount of outlets per breaker. Most homes usually have lights and outlets for certain "sections" one a separate breaker.
I would keep the outlets separate from the lights. This way if you short an outlet you can still see where your going. Make sure you put any large draw items on its own breaker. Lighting is 15 amps while outlets (depending on what your going to plug in them) can be 15-20 amps. Remember that if you use 20 amp breakers you must also use #12 wire as well as 20 amp outlets. #14 gage wire is for 15 amp circuits.
Are you runing this 100amp box from an existing box in your home or are you running it separate from an outside access box? In other words, where are you going to tap into for power to this box?
I don't know your knowledge of electric wiring so don't be offended by some detailed answers and questions.

Using #14 in the shop, 12# in the garage(existing wiring). I got the shop (new) wired as such 3 outlets= one lead 3 outlets= 2nd lead
3 lights= one lead 3 lights= 2nd lead
I want to set this up in the new panel as I said above But I need to redo the garage(existing) and make it all work and be safe! My knowledge is limited to basics so never no offense! Any help is appreciated! OH the box in the garage is powered by a line from the house which I can shut off.

I am not sure what you mean by "one lead and 2nd lead" are you refering to a separte line for each of them? If so, each on its own breaker would be best however if cost is a problem, go with one each for lights and outlets. What size wire and breaker do you have coming from the house out to the garage?

OK, what are you going to use the outlets for in the "shop" part?

In this case I would run 3 outlets on one breaker. Also, you MUST check the load requirments on the tools you will be using. Some motors have a heavy draw on startup that can pop a 20 amp breaker. Even though they will not be going at the same time I would still watch the load rating, you never know when you may run them at the same time not thinking about the wireing. AGain in checking the tool load requirments, you may have some that work on 15 amps and some on 20 amps. I would wire one side for each amp requirement and arrange the room as such. So check the tools BEFORE you buy or run the wireing.

Thanks Bro! I did use some foresight and put all the "heavy stuff" on one end. I'll keep ya posted on the progress.
