Fiber fill, tube socks, jar lids and rice Turn sock inside out,put a lid in bottom as a base, add 1.5 cups rice... Stuff with fiber fill until sort of firm, manipulate fiber until body form suits you ... Felt or yarn for a scarf and to define a head, and fold down sock to create a hat Put a 'top-knot' of yarn or felt on the stocking cap to close up the opening in the top Check your dog and make sure she is comfortable ----------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Spuds here.... Here are some of the supplies I gathered to give the snowmen and snow women personalities...buttons,embroidery thread (black),needle, glue gun, yarn and crochet needle, some ribbon roses I picked up at the thrift store. This little guy is simple with felt cut for the scarf and to tie up the cap. Buttons for eyes and black embroidery thread weaved in and out for the smile. I really get a kick out of the smiles.None turn out the same. In fact none of the snow people turn out the same. Then a couple buttons hot glued to the front. I did a simple crochet scarf.....30 or so chain stitches and one row of single crochet stitches, tassels on the ends...hot glue a couple ribbon roses on the front. I had to redo the smile once. All done. We looked for tube socks for boys or toddlers to make different sizes but only found mens sizes. Hope you have as much fun as I did making them.

When Bud visitied Mrs Bud made this one. Looks a LOT like Mr Bud,even with his suspenders. Limited only by your imagination, she is thinking to make some with fabric paint too. Click to enlarge
