Please send some my way also. It has been at least 38 days with no rain. Been hot and low humidity. Finally dropped out of the triple digits. Was only 95 today.

It's been raining here all day, and lightening like I have never seen before. I been staying out here at my mother-in-law's for the last couple of days & I have never seen such a storm. They sure look a lot more menacing out in the country then they do in the city where I live. Must be all this open sky or something. Spooked me like crazy.

I'm going to have to read back through all of these pumpkin posts, my mom is making me help dig a patch for my sister's pumpkins this week, thought I might help my sister plant them too. I bought her seeds yesterday. Yours look like there doing real good.

Needless to say I now declare myself out of this years competition. my last punkin plant went deader than a doornail yesterday. it's been all this southern heat I guess.
Towards the end there was nothing i could do to keep em alive, I tried extra water, I tried Tarps..... but to no avail they died... the competition i had was great, more power to ya guys. keep up the good work.
