i just relized i have atlantic giant pumpkin seeds got them from a swap this past fall. so im gonna try to grow a giant ill also be tryin the lil ones to like jack o lanters lots of good info in here so they should grow for me this year oops edited my post, "duh to me" pumpkin cronicals is for like diarys of your pumpkin progress. so ill keep my update on my pumpkins here. ill start em this weekend

yea tonya you have tons of room in your garden did you get seeds yet? im gonna haveta re read the chronicals n take more note, like how much roonm gotta get a tarp n stuff, only thing is i dont know what verity they are the packet just said atlantic giants, are they just big pumpkins or giants. only one way to find out you have fun watchin wrennie ill be nail bittin

I have some Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin seeds and another kind(that I can't get my hands on right this second.... where did I put those seeds?? ) They are all going across the ditch from the actual main garden in a patch all of their own!

well after readin the chronicals think ill wait before starting them, i dont want them getting rootbound before i can plant them outside, *thank you phil for the chronicals* i did get a bottle of peroxcide n dixie cups n put them up. im thinkin the end of april cause my last frost date is in may. tonya want me to send you down some of these atlantic seed? i only have a mall yard wont be havin room for all of em.

not yet tomarrow i will, haveta get more proxide n soil tonight, i used em on my flower seeds lol, i saved my milk n water jugs cut bottom n tops off so i can just roll a newspaper "paper pot" in them, then i can just slide or cut the jug off when transplanting, lmk if ya get yours started this weekend,

my AGs are commin up [thats matters on the side] n i had a lil goof n thought i was planting caspers n jack-o-lanterns, n im lookin at these seeds thinkin there just as big as the AG, here i opened bix max lol, im still ganna be planting the j-o-ls i found them in the bottom of my seed box

I finally planted mine(in the ground) a little over a week ago and they are loving life so far! Already getting second(true) leaves! Thanks for the seeds Christy!!

nope, ive never sprayed anything on my plants except a home made fungus stuff, thats just water,b soda n dish deturgant ill use on roses or phlox lol if i see bad bugs ill pick them off by hand. i herd neem oils good to keep bugs off but so far i havent seen any here.

hiya penny alot better than last year least i got pumpkins! lol AGs are not very big but there there 2 are going good, white caspers are going good but one is grey? lol i know i didnt cut the vines off like i think i shoulda. ill post a pic when photobucket loads

At least your's did something. My two vines died when they were about 12 - 20 inches long.
