I just planted this sweet orange pepper plant, called, "fruit basket". It is ideal for a hanging basket!
The seeds came from a lady in Portugal - we traded. I started this plant back in December, under florescent lighting. The second pic shows two small peppers already growing! They will turn orange later.
This plant is in obvious need of transplanting to a bigger pot, but I was doing a little experiment. For some reason, I find that pepper plants that are root bound, fruit quicker than ones that are swimming in big pots. This sure proved to be true, in this case! I will transplant it though, shortly.

Oh thank you caveman! So nice of you to comment like that. Well, I do pretty much garden indoors - I call it my indoor container garden. So, ya think I should just pour the dirt right on the floor, and make a garden in my living room, eh?!!!
I will take more pics of this plant shortly -especially when the fruit begins to ripen.
Are you growing any pepper plants this season, caveman? I have others, too, but the 'fruit basket' plant is the most developed, with fruits already appearing.
