Rita- somehow, the pics are a bit messed up now..... Like, now there's a duplicate of her son fishing instead of the chicken, and there are three of the bee.

Hey! My favorite chicken is MY Leghorn too! People who think leghorns are flakes are missing out on a fine bird, mine is awesome and a TOTAL Sweetheart. AND is a flat out egg laying machine! She is the most plain looking bird out of our 45 birds but she has a real personality. A great one. She follows me around (and not just for food) I talk to her and she sits there in her dirt bath listening. My friends think I am nuts, but once they meet her they agree that she is a riot! She is older and doesnt lay as many eggs as the other leghorns, but I keep her and a few others around cause they are cool and help out a bit with the bugs.

Chickens warm my heart. I had a bunch that would come when I called thier names. They were all my babies and they ALL (30sumpin) had names. Hopefully I have just as awesome an experience this time around!

I hope so to. My dad gave me a few months for chickens. He took bets and all with in the family that I wouldnt last. That I would hate it and get rid of the chickens. Boys was he wrong. Needless to say, he lost some cash. LOL. I couldnt never name all of them. You must have a great memory to name all 30sumpin birds!!! Only a few have names. We have Hawk (one of our chicks we just discovered is male) Tila (the biggest B**** chicken I have ever met) Sunny, Oprah,Old Girl, Dog,Lady,Curious Georgia,Cheese Doodle, Angel and King Tut. We used to have another rooster. We just called him "boy chicken" but we didnt get to keep him long at all before he was dog food for the farmers dog. But I do love having my chickens. Right now we are trying to incubate our own eggs. WIsh us luck!
