Thanks Penny. Here are some more (clickable) photos taken earlier today. It's amazing what can be achieved with just a little shelter. These geraniums (zonal pelargoniums) are under the front porch but have come through the recent frosts unscathed. This is the front border, still fairly colourful. Berberis 'Helmond Pillar' in front border. At the back of the house the Boston Ivy is putting on a nice show. Unfortunately the Acer which was similarly resplendent yesterday morning appears to have lost most of its leaves overnight! At the bottom of the garden, the Hornbeam tree is now sporting a yellow coat too. Whilst this rose (Golden Wedding) still thinks it's summer. Finally, on the south facing wall, the quinces (fruit of Chaenomeles) are beginning to ripen.
