Lemon Balm can be invasive-especially if it goes to seed. But it just smells so good lol Once the plants become established, you can get 2 harvests from it. I cut them back about 2/3.

love love love that lemon balm. just how much is too much.....
I don't care if it takes over my whole yard, the whole city, the whole county, ...... heheheh
plant it in its own pot that will contain it somewhat. just mow it down if it gets crazy.

I have an aquarium on my desk that I have turn into a terrarium. Lemon balm in one of the plants that I have growing in it. I love to throw a few leaves in my tea each morning. It keeps my office smelling great. It is just so good for you.

yes it is. You can use it as a salve, as a rinse to fight infection. You can use it internally as teas, cough syrup, douches, rinses for mouth sores the list goes on.
it is just good for what ails ya.

I have a bunch of "Citronella" lemon balm growing in a long planter. Had tried raising it from seed before, but not much luck until this year when I tried "winter sowing." I think every seed (from Richters) came up.
Citronella is supposed to be stronger than the regular lemon balm - we'll see -- does make great tea, and in fruit salad -- yummm!
