OK, I don't think there IS sucha thing. I was just wondering if anyone here has any different or unusual uses for any of the common herbs. Like some people use mint to repel mice, etc. So if you do have a good groundhog repellent, I'd like to hear about that too. lol.

Not an herb but, neighbor swears by this. Pour used kitty litter down holes and they scut to a fresher more pleasant place.

I tried a less friendly way to repel those pesky hole diggers. Once I placed mole bombs ( sulfur smoke bombs) and still they came back. About the only (humane) way is to use live traps and relocate them to fair away from your home.

My Grandfather in Kingston Springs Tenn. had a lot of problems with groundhogs in the farm field. His solution in the old days was to hunt them for food. Had bar-b-que groundhag once at a wild game feast. I found them to be greasey and difficult to eat.

never tried groundhog, but most other critters I have eaten at those feeds. I did hear though that it tasted alot like beef if cooked correctly.

I grew up eatin groundhog.......we call'em whistle pig's......we boil'em then fry'em.....mitey tastey The best repellent i've used is a good shoot'in rifle........let'em get away from their hole befor ya shoot'em........cause if it ain't a dead shot it mite crawl down the hole and there goes yer supper.

Thats the way to do a coon, Nope, I can't see how I missed eatin one, and may well have without my knowledge... I know I took a bite of blackbird once b4 I knew what it was

Ahem....You guys have had 2 years to come up with a groundhog repellent, lol. (I don't have one either) NOW however, I need an Armadillo repellent. Anybody?
