This herb is used as an expectorant. It has helped people with asthma, and bronchitis. It can be taken as a tea using 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried leaves to 1 cup of hot water. Let steep fo 10-15 min. This herb should not be given to children or taken if a woman is breast feeding. Some tests suggest this herb may reduce tumors and inflammations. But further study is needed.

Yes Crazy it is used this way as an expectorant. Now, being an older feller, I can add to this! The leaves of Mullie are soft and fuzzy, when dried and crumbled, it will ignite with a match, and burn quite evenly. This was the material that carried the "other" drugs in this old asthma cure. The tin that it came in, had a cap, a small amount of the asthmador was piled in the lid, ignited and sniffed. It was taken off the market when the pholks back in the "hippy days" found that if You ATE it, it delivered a Mind bending TRIP. Foe those of you with good eyes, you can read BELLADONNA ALKALOIDS!! it also had a lil jimsonweed for good measure!
