Boy did we pick the herbs today.. Parsley,Oregano, Dill, Savory, Basil,..& I am sure there is more..however I am ready to :gdnt: ..

Yum! I'm a little annoyed about dill but my basil seems to be winning the battle with the baby plantain!

Oh and Barb...we have dill Laura planted, volunteer dill EVERYWHERE thats like a dense forest...wants some Dill..we gots it, just talking yesterday about the fact we should peddle some off at the Farmers Market

I'd love some! I planted a large packet into a planter adn I think only about three made it through the sudden forest of purslane! They're only about an inch tall, I'm afrais that if I "weed" the planter, I'll pull out the dill sprouts. On the other hand, they aren't doin to hot without the weeding either...

Barb..the dill I planted didn't come up like the volunteer stuff..& we have some out in the newest garden that is almost as tall as we are..that is the mammoth dill.. pics will be coming soon of the garden..

That's what I planted- mammoth dill. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to free up some space for it and see how it does. I didn't spend much time weeding today as I was thinning and planting and transplanting and watering and harvesting- though not harvesting any kale or lettuce until we get a bit of rain. I was just thinking the other day that I should pick some of my rosemary, thyme, sage, and oregano to dry but then I remembered that i don't have my dehydrator set up yet . Can't wait to see pics!
