Hey all! It's been so long, a lot of ya prolly don't even know me... but fer the ones who do, jes thought I'd catch ya up a little on what's been goin' on. The store I was managing fer the last three years went outta business suddenly in February, so I'm presently unemployed! Yep, there I was, well into the first week of the shortest month, when the boss comes in and says "we'll be out of business by the end of the month". Bringin' that thing to a screechin' halt in that short time was no easy task, but I got 'er done! PLUS, right in the middle of all that, my precious little granddaughter was born! God is good that way. She brought Joy and clarity to an otherwise dismal time for me. Her name is Alexa Faith (middle name after yours truly.....SOO proud), and she weighed 6 lb 5 oz., had a full head of black hair, and big dark eyes. She's the most beautiful little gift you'd ever want to see. I'm very blessed to have my son and his little family living right here close, so I can see her three or four times a week. Still gigging once in awhile, and other than that, happay to be free to cook more and put more time into planning my garden for the year! That's all.

Yeah, it's a little grim if I let it be,, but there really couldn't be a better time for me to be free, so I'm making the very best of it that I can.
Hubby has an idea that we are thinkin' about trying to get patented. It has to do with medical so if it did take off, it could really amount to something.
Whatever happens, I know who holds tomorrow, and who's watchin' over us, so I'm not skeerd.
