thanks Phil. We had another one bloom today and got 3 ready to bloom. Most people didn't get that the one with a hint of red at the bottom was the edge of the red tulip and the yellow in the side of the other was the yellow tulip. I try to get creative, maybe a little too creative at times. lol

Phil, we don't have a county fair here, wish we did. Wish we did! Just to go look and enjoy it all!
Thanks Cavey and Penny! bestoffour-I'm not sure which one you are referring too. But I've heard any of these called that. We call the pink bush a firebush. Thanks.

I call this one-- "Waiting on a woman" I watched this bird for 45 min. the other morning. I was on the porch and birds were coming and going from the feeder but this one never did. I kept waiting and he would change position but never left. Closer Finally, I saw what he was waiting on, a brown bird came and he poofed up and scooted closer to her and she flew to another tree, and he followed and did the same thing, once again, she flew to another tree. This went on for quite awhile. Finally, they flew into the tree by the porch where the feeder is. She is partly hidden by the feeder.

Very nice Lucy! I like em all.. The train shot is cool. standing still in time. The birds..we have the grosbeaks. They are pretty comical aren't they? The little brown one looks like a cow bird. We have them visiting us at the feeders. They stretch up while eating & peek in the windows at us. The black & white is is real nice!

W8in4dave--thanks, it is actually a cheap camera Kodak Easyshare. I want a better one.
Penny the barn is actually out toward Cavey's house, I loved the setting.
Laura, I've only seen the Grosbeaks once. They must have been passin thru. So glad I got to see and photograph them. And the train is a part of Ky's coal history.
