Daylilies are so hardy, they grow in almost any well drained soil, perfer full sun but can handle part shade. also best to divide them every 3-4 years. You can transplant daylilies anytime of the year. just do it in the evening when the sun's down and cut them back to 4inches. mine are starting to bloom!! ;D Ill have to get updated pic's. this year im gonna try to find there names. the ones blooming now I know are lil wine cups. unknown yellow

Not really a day liliy but gotta love the wild roadside, ditch lilies. Got them going up the driveway
