anyone else have this issue this year ? Ummm I have raspberries ripening right now and just last month was able to pick my blueberries .. is this happening to anyone else or am I just a freak of nature here in Massachusetts ?

Ummm I have raspberries ripening right now and just last month was able to pick my blueberries .. is this happening to anyone else or am I just a freak of nature here in Massachusetts ? can't tell ya about berries, haven't talked to any growers here, but I can say that all the peppers and tomatoes were very slow to ripen here in this entire area...

It was so hot here, so early that some pretty extreme measures were in order to get anything like a "normal" crop. Luckily I had what little garden I did have in containers that could be moved. I fear with global whatever we might have even worse, unpredictable weather in years to come.

My berries did the same as anyother year. You musta got a hot spell that tricked the berries into growing dose that in early spring, get a good warm spell n things grow to early.then the cold comes back. people are stringing lights in there fruit trees or bushes to keep them going or spraying them to keep them dormat...dont see why it cant happen in phall either.
