I have a gazillion seed catalogs to go threw for our 2012 season Ruth and I have to sit down and start planing on what we are going to plant this season. I'm still going nuts with setting up our market garden. Just finished applying for Farm Family Insurance, and joining the NJ farm bureau. Which set me back another $150.00 not to mention the farm insurance. One good thing I put the PU on the policy so that is much less. Seems like money just keeps going out with nothing coming in. YET!!! Some times I wonder if it's all worth the effort, but I love farming. I just hate all the other BS.

Tomorrow should be around 50°. I have that same problem starting some seeds to early when the temps start to get in the 60s. Sure wish we had 70° weather year round then I would be a happy camper

I grow as much naturally produced food for my family as possible, with the key being naturally produced, scince the GMO trash that is being passed off now as the, Rebranded high tech food is dirrectly linked to desease and food allergy. SAVING SEED ASURES ME THAT THE SEED I HAVE WAS NATURALLY PRODUCED.

njm740 -- I applaud you and all others that save their seed. That way we know that we are growing organic, as along as the seed was organic to begin with. Monsanto just does not get it. We DO NOT want their GMO seed!!! We want to live a healthy life, not a life filled with disease. The only way they will go out of business is we stop buying their GMO seed. I know it is getting harder every day since they are buying up all the seed companies. Our US government doesn't help any either. If everyone has a chance, please read 'Seeds of Deception', and you will understand my, and others, hate for Monsanto. Guess it is time to step off my .

You tube has a video with Bill Gates thats entitled Bill Gates on GM foods, vaccines and monsanto,NWO puppet. In which Bill Gates say how these are benificial in reducing sickness and population growth. so how do you reduce sickness by reducing population growth ? I think the two just might be synonymous.ALL MONSANTO SEED IS STERILE AND SO BECOME THE PEOPLE WHO COMSUME IT.` NWO NEW WORLD ORDER !!!

I agree with all that.. we have to fight against it .. GMO seeds are good for nobody but the government and Bill Gates .. I want them to all feast on all this food and see how they really like it .. that and the United Nations leaders too ... how healthy will it be for all them in 10 years they wanna make us eat it? they should try out the cancer first and let us all know every little thing is gonna be alright

Monsanto test something?? yeah right they have " TOP NOTCH" scientists ....thing about it is this...with enough $$$ ANYONE could get the FDA to test and pass anything...get any number of Doctors/laboratories on board and a whole "test group" to smile and say it's GREAT... Bill Gates/Monsanto....falls into the "enough money" bracket don't know if it's NWO... or just business as always...Money talks

Yes it does NJM...and that is plain household vinegar (acetic acid and water)- 5% acidity. it is non selective...so spray. pour or paint it on with care. NJM, We use 56% acetic acid...(vinegar x 10) then dilute to whatever strength is required...Full strength it will and has put down burdock and Canadian thistle...I say Put down..as the plants did come back, not healthy..not big... so the roots were apparently not killed.
