Here the gas is down to $ 3.14 & lower. Coffee is on sale here. $ 6.98 per 1 can. $ 4.20 off per can. So I have been stopping daily to get our java juice.
What are the prices where you are?

the price of gas went down today, it's now approximately $4.35 U.S. gallon.
Coffee is outrageous. A two pound can is on Sale for $9.99, but that's cheaper than it has been in a while I think? I see one sale flyer this week has a new size of maxwell house ground. It's 635 grams to approx 1-1/2 lbs for $3,97 I drink instant Decaf and I know it's been as high as $10 a jar, although I got some this week for $4.99 a jar.

Jersey, I understand there are several factors governing property taxes. An example would bed Retail Tax. The other depends on incomes for the state. Google says that LA has the lowest taxes in the U.S, because it has high revenues from the oil industry. Unfortunately, for those of us who live and work in high density areas with higher requirements for good roads and services, we end up paying dearly for them.

I wish that was the case here but that doesn't apply here. We pay out the wazoo and get butkiss in return.........The only thing factoring property tax here is Schools they get the lions share and have more administrators then I have hair on my head. NJ residents pay more taxes then any other state per capita. Do get me wrong it's a beautiful state, just to many greedy politicians.

Gas is reasonable (at the present $3.55), Groceries are outrageous, and keep getting higher. DaHoney doesn't drink coffee on a regular basis, so a 12 cup pot will last me a day or two (it stays fresh in the Hamilton Beach coffeepot - no carafe to sit on a hot plate, stores internally - stays hot for awhile then gradually cools off, (but that's what microwaves are for)
County water is outrageous for just the two of us - averages close to $50 a month.
Caught a break being a disabled veteran - we get a full blown homestead exemption, so my property tax is zip - only have to pay $115 a year for trash/debris pickup (and we had that rolled into the mortgage payment).
We ain't exactly starving, but we ain't getting rich either - things will improve come Spring when the van is paid for....

Water and Sewer rates aren't bad here. Our first two bills were under $30, but when we lived on Lake Erie? Over $70 a month there with base rate being $65. Mind you, our property taxes here are $1,000 a year more and car insurance is almost doubled! A couple more projects to do, then we sell the pickup and I get to ride the bus.

District water for house I pay $13 a month. That is min amount. up to 3000 gals for that. I am on septic tank. AS not a city res I do not pay for trash to them but I pay at dump. Property tax is over $1200 and I hope comes down now. Colorado too broke to give the senior property tax break so have to pay it all. License plate few years back doubled and the the following year add a $5 more them. I has older ones and so bottom charge. I was thinking I could save a littlle this month but goes for plates. Had to sign up for a different ins for med and that is a lot more. Shools get over half of my property taxes. And they wanted a lot more and wasa voted down and the state one also voted down. The have always said the schools here were admin heavy. They claim the have cut some and layed off some teachers and will have to do more for the coming year, Car ins has come up too. I got one to pay this month.
OOB my nephew and his wife are coffee drinkers. They would big pot and fill the stainless steel thermos. The he could not lift the big pot and using smaller one but still I think filling some thermos.
They lowered valuations here on property and I hope thay helps. But I have my doubts. They need X number of dollars to run on.
