I've watched about the first 18 minutes so far, and I gotta tell ya.... pretty fascinating stuff. I've seen similar structures before. I think the concept is great. It does help to live in a warm, dry place though. I think something like this could be done here in Michigan, but you'd have to make some adaptations. It'd have to be able to stand up to all of the moisture (rain, snow, freezing, etc). Not to mention the fact that you can't always count on the sunshine here. I think if you lived near the lake shore, you could take advantage of the wind, in addition to some solar. Very interesting stuff indeed.

Depends on the earthen structure you are talking about .. there are many different types .. I would live in one ..
clay straw mix would be the best here in North america ... I will try and get my links up for you tomorrow

reckon I'd have to watch it too... seems most are in drier than Minnesota areas
Seen alot of "earth sheltered" homes built... n\I know where there are a few that are sitting empty...due to water damage.
