Hi Phrends!  This was in my garage when we moved in about 7 years ago. It's made of ceramic I think. It measures 20 inches across. It has a battle scene (swords, horses, helmeted soldiers, etc) on it. There is nothing on the back side of it - no hooks, nada. I honestly don't have a clue what it is, so it hangs on my fence by my herb garden. Thoughts?   Here's the back:  |

Looks like soot on the back ? Maybe a lid for a fire pit of some kind ? I know my chiminea has a lid but not that large |

I have a friend that is into strange things (what is) Was going to send him the photo but to no avail. I really didn't want to steal the photo just trying to help out. CF ;D

I'm more curious than anything. I have no idea if this thing is an antique, or some ceramics class project that got left behind. CF Right click on the picture .. It should bring up a box that says save image as .. which will save it to your computer .. Once the picture is in your computer you will be able to send it from your computer  |

But I have scripted the pictures in the photography section ONLY as to where they cannot be "easily" copied...for everyone's security now all I gotta figure is how it did work for ya Rita  ... |

I had a strange dream that it was the top to a kiln Hmm - you could certainly be right Cavey. There is a ceramics shop not far from where we live. It's actually on the way to the place where i fish. I should stop in there sometime with it (seeins how it's ceramic). Ya never know. |
