So far the fat man has...... 2 yellow pair tomato 3 cupid tomato 1 yellow straight neck squash 1 patty pan white squash 1 black beauty zucchini squash 1 purple beauty bell 1 golden bell 1 keystone giant bell 4 sugarbaby watermelon It`s not much, but it`s a start.....I`ll add some raised beds when I can. The fat man I have access to several wild plum tree starts that I will probably move this fall, I have been told that is the right time.

Thanks everybody! I think our local peaches are selling for $2.99 here too but they are worth every dime! My son works for Conrad Farms in Bixby, so I get a nice discount, 25% off of produced that is shipped in and what is grown on their farm is free....so when I dropped the boy off at work this morning I picked up a few new starts..... 1 Pimento Sweet Pepper 1 Cayenne Pepper 1 Purple Beauty Bell Pepper, I have 2 now 2 Better Boy Tomato Here is my new bed, it aint perfect but it`s great soil and my Sugar Baby's will love it. One of my Yellow Pears aint happy, any guess as to what my problem is by looking at it? any suggestions will be appreciated...I don`t want to lose it. And should I be trimming off those small leaves at the bottom of my plants? I`m havin` some fun! Thanks again!

I forgot to ask but does anybody recognize this little plant? I seem to have forgotten what I seed I planted.... And while I`m at it...I made another container for the deck, I recycle our cat litter containers. Last weekend a produce clerk in Bixby give me a miniature yellow bell pepper, it only had one seed in it and I`m trying to get it started in that butter bowl....if it grows I`ll put it in that new container.

Bro we take all the bottom leaves and branches off our mators to about a foot off the ground, then mulch the soil beneath...keeps the "splash up" from the ground from bringing ya any soil borne pathogens..peppers, we do not do this to. Things are looking GREAT Garret

I guess I ought to start wearing shoes out in the yard from now on, I caught this Black Widow just few steps away from my deck. To give some perspective as to size, that a quart sized mason jar that she is in....biggest one I have ever seen!

I`ve pretty much figure that I got a late start, so this year is experimental....I`ll figure out what works for me here and plan for next year. I`m startin` to get some squash.... And I picked this up @ Conrad`s Farm the other day, is this a cross? If so is because they were planted too close together?

I am so far behind but I`m still having fun! My Sugar Babys are starting to look like something. I figure I still have about 11 weeks of growing time left, I might get a few melons this season. This is a Mini Bell start, I could n`t resist trying some.

My squash is growing like crazy but I seem to have a problem with my yellow squash......does it look like I`m watering too much or too little? I was thinking too little. The Patty Pan next to it is doing fine. This is the 2nd one to do this.....
