It is hot today, over 100F. Forecast for the next 4 days the same. I watered all my containers this a.m. at around 7. Peppers in 5-gals and one large tomato plant in an 18-gal tote are showing some wilt. I will need to water again before dark. I sympathize with those pholks in Texas that say their gardens are burning up. I am thinking about pruning some on the larger tomato plants just so the transpiration will go down. Less leaves, less need for water right now. Maybe they'll come back and return the favor before frost. I'm determined to save all the plants if'n I can.

Hey I live in Michigan, and it was 107 yesterday. I had to water down my squash and pumpkins because they also were wilting, hot weather sucks
