I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE NICE TO HAVE A THREAD ON GIFTS HOMEMADE TO GIVE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Our whole family decided to give homemade items for the most part for christmas this year here are a few recipies of what we are making.
seed bombs
mix red clay with seeds (sunflowers, millet, grains, flowers ),and roll into 1'' balls, let air dry and package up into gift bags. These can be throwen into back yards or into your bird feeder area ,back fields or in your ditch.
Garden hand rub for dry skin
1 pair of plastic gloves
into a jar place 1 tablespoon of lanolin
in a baggie
1 tablespoon of old fashion rolled oats ground in a blender.
place a gift tag telling them to mix this with 1 egg at room tem.
then rub this mixture around and around into their hands, put on the plastic gloves and wait 1 hour.Wash off and enjoy healed hands!!
For children we take tolet paper rolls and stuff with plastic animals, candy, seeds packets
wrap them up with the ends well over the end of the tolet paper roll and tie with ribbons ech end close to the tolet paper roll .these look like those expensive crackers they sell in stores and kid's love them.
make fire proof matches for camping trips, hunting trips and preppers by taking a large box of matches and dipping the ends of the matches one at a time in candle melted candle wax.
put them around a plate to dry then package up into baggies or small boxes .
seasalt scrubs for skin:
place sea salt or hawaii red mineral sea salt or other mineral sea salt into a fancy jar with a scoop.
On a tag- rub this into your skin in circlular motions twords your heart, rince off and pat dry with a towel and apply a good body oil such as safflower, oilve, almond,or grapeseed from head to toe.
Skin will feel like satin. Our skin is our largest organ and needs this deep detoxifying scrub once a month.
this is just a few ideas we have done that went over really well. What is your ideas?
