Thought I might take the time to say I like spending time here chatting with those of you who share the same interest as I do, and to also say I have met some very nice people here such as cave man, spuds, Phil & Laura, Rita, CF, Compost Farmer, and many more. But I have little time in the spring and summer to chat here and hope that everyone realizes that I would rather spend time with you all but Ruth and I have just started out trying to make a go of it in market farming. It's been a hard task and at times I have really been ready to pack it all in, but we keep each other going. Ruth and I have struggled back and forth with staying here or selling and moving to someplace less expensive to live, it is still on our minds and we get more and more convinced to do so as time goes by, this is not an easy state to live in on a fixed income. Anyway in a few more weeks things are going to get hectic so don't think I'm ignoring you guys Ill be stopping by now and then in the spring and summer just not as often as I can right now.

Awweee jerseycub , Thanks buddy, you know we get worried when you know someone is a regular , then boom they don't show up. Thanks for the heads up!! Wish you all the luck in the Market!! It is hard work!! I have friends that do that, yup alot of work! But it can be done! We know you can do it! If you decide to move , there are other ways sweetie! Bro, I hear Ya...time gets precious, but it takes just a minute to stop and say Hi...or heck just post a single or a to let Us know your still kickin...

There's not many folks today that is NOT busy...
But..
the world/life would be pretty darn borin' tho without a pause, smile, howdy, or a kind word to a phriend or neighbor...


I was swamped last spring and summer...will be most likely this summer too...

But It's a long day...and I HAVE to have this computer on anyway...Business and all....
And, for myself...I can't turn the puter on without coming here...so. I read/post..maybe not all the time..but I'm here..for awhile

My daily routine is purty darn hectic too, And I never know what "extra" comes up...Summer of course I gots to figure in at least two markets a week to prepare for (plan/harvest/clean/crate up produce)
any number of drive by/in distractions..

But, everyday...I get up somewhere twingst 3-4 a.m.
(Not much "gardening" going on then...)...not too many pholks here either, but it's time to post and answer a couple..

Then it's coffee with Laura @ about 4:25 a.m.
See Laura off...feed/water critters @ 5:00 a.m.

5:00 a.m. - Spring/summer/fall...gather tools and wits...out to garden to water if needed, weed if not
(with this size garden area...NO CHEMICALS and ONLY a tiller and three hoes...it takes most all day...)

then I gotta figure in Mowing, house keeping, laundry,..on top that...
(5:00 a.m.- Winter..do the things I put off all summer) read as: House is much cleaner)

I am never "done" when Laura gets home @ 3 p.m....usually I am..about finished though
then...I get cleaned and go into "Meal prep Mode"

so, Although I felt I cheated My Phorum Phamily this last summer outa my presence...I still made it here to "pop in"

so Jc, Bro I knows what Ya mean....but..please try to do the same...we'll leave a light on...

Hey Phil and phorum family, I'm not saying I will not stop buy now and then this season....I will definitely stay in touch. I like to see what is going on too. Just may not be as often as I am visiting now...that's all I'm saying.
