The Surgery Clinic has ordered two more tests - an ultrasound of the gallbladder and hiatal scan, plus I currently have low potassium for some unknown reason (could be because of, or the cause of, all the vomiting. Anyway, based on the outcome of those tests, Dr. Cannady is hopeful that we can do "two for the price of one" - remove the gallbladder AND repair the belly button hernia during the same surgery by using laprascopy - which is fine by me - I'd rather get them BOTH over and done with. In the meanwhile, they have increased my potassium intake - I have to go back next week for more labs to see if the levels have come back up. Had such a problem with Dr Ghali that I filed a formal complaint with the Patient Advocate. Will be assigned a different doctor, and Lord willing will not have a problem getting meds renewed/refilled. Thanks for the prayers, everyone!!! Either I or Da Honey will keep you posted....
