For Mother nature to straighten up. More snow last night. Little to no sun during the longest part of the day. It is out now..on & off..but we are hoping that tomorrow we will be able to get the plants out for a dose of vitamin D. Last year at this time we had so much planted..not this year. We have NOT 1 single thing out. The plant babies are o.k. for now but NEED SUNSHINE!!

We've had a lot of rain too. The garden is full of weeds already and it's too wet to work.

The weather for my vacation was NOT good. Lots of RAIN which we do not need now. We are out of the drought we had been in for the last 2 years. NO MORE RAIN!! We worked like dogs when we had the weather to do so. Today we worked..Phil more so then I..He tilled the area for sweet corn & planted 4-40 foot rows of it!! Tilled the rest of the area for squash/cukes or what ever we need room for. Tilled the rest of the tomato area..put in 20 more cages..& we planted 20 more plants. We have a huge variety this year. 81 tomato plants so far!! See if we are smiling when we have to process 200lb's when they come ripe all at once.. We planted some with intent on taking them to the farmers market. We planted 111 pepper plants yesterday..I want to put in 9 more to make it an even 120. We are getting a very nice rain now for the plants. they were looking a lil thirsty. I did the farmers market this morning in order to sell the rest of the tomato plants. We are tired of baby sitting them & they need to go. I did sell about half of them. I also reduced the prices. I can get $6.00 a 4 pack.I have been reducing them for the last 2 weeks. Need to find homes for them.
