I really didn't know where to place this,
I've written a series of short stories, poems and just writing about many things as long as I can remember.
The poem below was written when I couldn't get anyone of authority to help me get my grandsons away from their terrible situation they were living in. I was frustrated, felt hopeless/helpless, while telling them I was doing my best to help them get out, they would just cry and tell me,, don't tell it won't do any good, made me determined more than ever to rescue them.
Whispered Tears
Tender children life's are passing in a blur they cannot see
the beauty of the world as a hand strikes out of greed,
Their childhood's spirit's broken, shattered visions of relief.
No one really listens, to protect, to save, or need,
the bruises tell the story of their lives from day to day
no reason for the punishment they should not live this way/
We the people set a plan out to save those children sweet
when we use our voice to speak for them, rugs get pulled beneath our feet.
Who are they to trust then~ these little angels from above
when the ones they trusted most turn their back and gave a shrug,
Whispered tears say "Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell it won't do any good
we'll just have to go back anyway, and They'll look misunderstood."
Who will volunteer to take these tears and wear them for their own,
I will, I WILL if it will leave children's pain alone,
I'll wear their whispered tears, drown in them if I must
to ease the pain for children for being treated so unjust!

This is another form of poetry, more or less free verse, not rhyming,
Bonding Hearts and Souls with Friends
I Bond with those that
understand and accept there is a greater Divine power than man.
Those that
understand ,respect and love nature and all the beauty that lies with in it.
I Bond with those that
are free spirited and laugh from the soul,,,,
and with those that
understand Grandparents have rights too,
and those that
understand~ Woman have it rough too. and to always have a smile on our face when our hearts are heavy is a hard task and we are appreciated for all we do.
Those that understand
A positive approach will more likely gain a positive response,
Those that understand
Children of today will be our caretakers of tomorrow
and teach them compassion, integrity and commitment and love for God.
Those that understand
forgiveness holds no grudges or bitterness
and that to forgive others~
frees yourself from inner bondage.
those that have
a gentle kindness for animals and value their very existence.
those that
can sit quietly beside me and feel comfort though no words pass between us.
Those that
have gone through or are going through hard times knows that God is the one in control,
and
all will be well in the end.
