We were awakened yest. morning when a tree fell on our mobile home. It did considerable damage but I am thankful it is no worse. The 3 of us are ok, and so are our 2 dogs(except Rika is traumatized). We have a lot of work to do to get our home back in order. We were fortunate enough to have my father in law and 2 brothers in law come as soon as we called and after an employee of the electric co. assured us it was safe, put a tarp over our roof. It tore through the upper roof, a hole in the actual trailer roof, busted some studding, broke 2- 8ft pieces of ceiling and both panes of a double paned window. The forecast is giving heavy rain and winds for tom. so we got my cousin along with my niece's husband to come and double tarp it and make sure it was weighted down. The electric co. had our power restored in a few hrs. It broke several rafters on our porch, which would not be a big deal but as winter is coming, don't want it to collapse on us or our dogs if snow piles up. We have a lot of work to get done as soon as possible. But it could have been a lot worse.
