I'll bet lots of you have cellars or basements or dungeons or places where the sun don't shine to store potatoes for the winter but I don't. If I plant a lot of potatoes how will I store them?

This wont help but....we buy 20 lbs at a time when on sale,Our front room is unheated so they go there. In summer just hang around the kitchen on floor and buy less if they arent making it as stored.
We do have a block room thingy on house, but I dont really care to go in there but if I had a bunch, would use it.I use a small chest freezer with an external thermostat set at 35 F or so,it gets humid and stores leafy things real well and dirt cheap to run.Like maybe a dollar or so a month,I checked it once but forget actual amount, suffice to say it was very cheap.
